Healthy Kids Camps (Grades PreK-5)

Design Dance is pleased to offer our new Healthy Kids Camps! Join us and our community partners as we learn about healthy eating and food preparation through hands on activities and meal-making! We'll take our knowledge of nutrition and our bodies and explore how movement and dance make us healthier, happier, and more energetic. As we create, dance and explore we'll build lifetime friendships and learn skills and lessons that will give us the foundation to make healthy choices as we grow!

Sticky Fingers Cooking + Design Dance

International Adventure Camp with Sticky Fingers Cooking + Design Dance

Are you ready to cook and dance your way around the world?  If so, we have a camp that is just for you! Our International-Themed Healthy Kids Camp will take you on a cultural journey without ever leaving Chicago!  Sticky Fingers Cooking will teach your young chef how to cook delicious ethnic cuisine from every corner of the Earth, and Design Dance will teach your child amazing globally-inspired dances!  In four days your child will have the opportunity to visit South America, Europe, Africa and Asia! Join us for this special international experience!

Storytime Camps (Ages 3-6)

Dance Around the World Storytime Camp

This dance camp will introduce students to global dance forms, combining movement, geography, and folklore from cultures around the world. Friends and family are welcome to join us for the presentation of our story on the final day.  Previous dance experience is not required.

Under the Sea Storytime Camp

Have you ever wanted to glide like a sting ray or explore a coral reef? In this class, we will use dance and stories to learn about different animals and environments in the sea. We will also use knowledge of the sea to explore different dance elements and improve movement skills. Friends and family are welcome to join us for the presentation of our story on the final day.  Previous dance experience is not required.
