WEEKLY CLASSES

Hip Hop

Beginner Hip Hop for 3- to 5-year-olds is a drop-off class that's a great introduction for new and returning students who love to dance! This program follows the structure of a Hip Hop dance class and introduces young dancers to the basics of Hip Hop and Pop Music style while growing independence, self-expression and community. Over the course of the session, students will engage in social-emotional learning as they play in contemporary movement games; strengthen individual gross-motor skills; enhance memory function through group technical practice; self manage in improvisational activities; and activate free choice, self-expression and creative confidence. No special dress is required in this program, however students are encouraged to wear gym shoes and clothes they are comfortable moving in. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final presentation at the end of the session.

Jr. Hip Hop for 5- to 7-year-olds (Wednesdays) OR for 6-to 8-year olds (Saturdays) is an excellent drop-off class for new and returning students at any skill level! This program follows the structure of a Hip Hop dance class and introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of Hip Hop and Pop Music style while building strength, rhythm and coordination. Over the course of the session, students will tap into social-emotional learning as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, grow awareness in technical and choreography practice, and focus on building creative confidence. No special dress is required in this program, however students are encouraged to wear gym shoes and clothes they are comfortable moving in. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final presentation at the end of the session.

Youth Hip Hop for 8- to 12-year-olds is the perfect drop-off class for passionate and developing dancers! Over the course of the session, students will learn and build upon Hip Hop technique and choreography in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will practice contemporary Hip Hop movement to upbeat, popular music while improving upon rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and improvisation. Students will also gain vital social-emotional skills as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, and build creative confidence. No special dress is required for this program, however students are encouraged to wear gym shoes and clothes they are comfortable moving in. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final presentation at the end of the session.

Dance with Me: Parent & Child Classes

Dance with Me: Ballet for 2-year-olds and their caregivers is the perfect way to introduce little ones to dance and the structure of a classroom setting. In this program, caregivers will dance with their kiddos as they learn basic ballet technique through dance games, movement exercises, and self-expression activities. Over the course of the session, families will also engage in social-emotional learning as dancers grow self-awareness amongst friends, discover learning with their peers, independently build fine- and gross-motor skills, and activate creativity and confidence with the support of their caregiver. No special dress is required for this program, however students are welcome to wear ballet leotards, tights and slippers.

Jazznastics

Jazznastics for 3- to 5-year-olds is a drop-off class that's a great introduction for new and returning students who love to dance! This program follows the combination of a Jazz and Tumbling class format that introduces young dancers to the basics of Jazz and Pop Dance style while also covering beginner-level tumbling skills. Over the course of the session, students will engage in social-emotional learning as they play upbeat movement games; strengthen individual gross-motor skills; enhance memory function through group technical practice; self manage in improvisational activities; and activiate free choice, self-expression and creative confidence. No special dress is required in this program, however students are encouraged to wear clothes and shoes they are comfortable moving in. Family and friends will be invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final presentation at the end of the session.
