Storytime Dance

Grades JK-2nd

January 3rd-March 24th

Storytime Dance brings your favorite literary characters to life! Students will dance their way through popular children’s stories, using creativity, choreography, and character building skills. They learn fundamental dance basics while developing vital skills in comprehension, memorization, and performance. This class concludes with a parent observation on the final week of class.

Hip Hop/Breakdancing

Grades 3rd-5th

January 3rd-March 24th

Mondays 3:30-4:30

$120/Session

This class is a perfect introduction to hip hop and breakdancing! Through improvisation, choreography and strength building (cartwheels, forward/backwards rolls, head/hand stands and freezes) students will learn the basics of breakdancing and hip hop. Students are taught vocabulary and choreography as they are encouraged to create movements and phrases on their own. This class also focuses on identifying rhythm through individual and group activities and each class will have the chance to participate in an end of the session performance.  All students should we clean gym shoes. This class concludes with a parent observation on the final week of class.

Creative Movement 

Grade Pre-School 3 (Mr. Cella, Ms. Hollander)

Fridays 3:15-4:00

Move and groove to the music in a fun and encouraging environment! Students will learn dance basics through creativity and imaginative play while improving upon coordination, flexibility, and memorization skills. This class concludes with a parent observation on the final week of class.
