 Storytime Dance
Tuesdays 3:15-4:15
Grades: PreK-1st

Storytime Dance will bring your PreK-1st Grader's favorite literary characters to life! Students will dance their way through popular children’s stories, using creativity, choreography, and character building skills. Over the course of the session, students will learn fundamental dance basics while developing vital skills in comprehension, memorization, and performance. Dancers will also gain critical social-emotional skills as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, and build creative confidence.

Hip Hop
Thursdays 3:15 - 4:15
Grades: 2nd-4th

Hip Hop for 2nd-4th graders is perfect for the young, energetic dancer! Over the course of the session, students will learn basic hip hop technique in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will practice contemporary Hip Hop choreography to upbeat, popular music while improving upon rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and improvisation. Students will also gain vital social-emotional skills as they engage in team building exercises, explore self-expression prompts, navigate choice-based improvisational activities, and build creative confidence. Family and friends are invited to celebrate their dancer's hard work in a final presentation at the end of the session.
