What to wear?

The dress codes outlined below apply to all classroom locations. If you have a specific question about attire, please contact us at info@brainchildcollective.co or ask your instructor!

Ballet: Dance attire or athletic clothing that allows for a wide range of movement. Simple ballet skirts and tutus are acceptable. Dancers are more than welcome to wear ballet shoes if they have them but it is not a requirement. Please no socks as this can be very slippery and dangerous to the dancer.

Creative Movement, Jazznastics, Musical Theatre, Storytime Dance: Dance attire or athletic clothing that allows for a wide range of movement. Dancers are more than welcome to wear ballet or jazz shoes if they have them but it is not a requirement. Please no socks as this can be very slippery and dangerous to the dancer.

Dance With Me: Dance attire or athletic clothing that allows for a wide range of movement. Dancers are invited to dress for the respective Ballet or Hip Hop styles, as listed here. We ask that caregivers are also prepared for movement. Please no socks as this can be very slippery and dangerous to the caregiver and the dancer.
